The anthem of this summer: a seasonal cocktail card from the team of bartenders at the Block restaurant
This season, we have prepared cocktails inspired by the literary circle "Friends of Gafiz," which was significant for the St. Petersburg bohemians of the 20th century. The creative elite of the Silver Age referred to these gatherings as "The Tower," and they took place in the St. Petersburg apartment of Vyacheslav Ivanov, located on the corner of Tavricheskaya and Tverskaya streets, on the opposite side of Tavrichesky Garden from the Blok restaurant.
The theme of literary circles, which passed right through the Tavrichesky garden from the Blok restaurant, inspired the team of bartenders to create cocktails – references to the main actors of the Tower meetings.
In the lead roles:
Apelles – a cocktail with bright notes of elderflower flowers and coniferous tones
Antinoi – an aperitif cocktail with a bright taste of spicy raspberries
Hermes – in berry style with a lush taste of watermelon
El-Rumi – dessert, digestif, with a dense yogurt texture
Nouvel – strict and balanced with a citrus dominant
Ganymede – an author's summer "spritz" in floral style
